[T]his was from my former headmistress, Sister Alva. This signifies … my source of strength to move on. […] I thought [people] would not be supportive, but it was an honour, a great thing for me to receive this encouraging letter that encourages me to be strong, to move on and especially the quote from the Bible that's Psalm 23 […] God was telling the people of Israel: ‘Do not afraid for I am with you, whatever you go through I am still with you.’ So, this really gave me a lot of strength. And I went back to school with all this hope and courage. [S]o whenever I read this letter […] I feel that moment when I was still in school, and with a lot of hope to move forward.”
