The Hamilton Children’s Museum is uniquely housed in an 1875 farmhouse formerly owned by the Gage Family. Its emphasis on learning through play and imagination is at the forefront of this museum’s mission. There are a number of hands-on galleries and exhibits for young visitors that promote self-play and imagination in order to further children’s learning abilities. The Hamilton Children’s Museum encourages this approach in order to promote physical, social/emotional, language, and cognitive development. It’s a fun and interactive way for children to learn through play and what better way than to discover it through a historical farmhouse?
